Photo 1: In this landscape photo, I colorized the photo to make the mountain appear a more prominent blue. I went into layer adjustments and changed the levels to make the photo darker and to bring out the fall colors. I went into effects and used the despeckle icon to bring out the yellow in the grasses on the field. I also cropped out the road at the bottom of the picture. Let me know what you think.
Photo 2: This is my favorite picture. In this picture I cropped out most of the fence from the bottom of the original picture. I went into layer adjustments and changed the levels of the photo. I also went into hue/saturation and colorized the photo to make the reds stand out. I then used my eraser tool to erase everything but the red doors and window frames. I adjusted the contrast and brightness of the photo and used the clone stamp to take the rest of the fence away.
Becoming "savvy" in the world of social networking was a huge step for me. I have been a blogger now for almost 3 months and have enjoyed reading others blogs, as well as, creating posts on my personal blog. I recently mastered some(being the key word) skills at Adobe Photoshop and would like to share with the world, my first attempt at perfecting a picture! I am excited to learn more about the Adobe programs so I can work on becoming a master photographer. :)
I was born and raised in the small town of Elko, Nevada. I am currently a senior at Utah State University majoring in Agriculture Communication and Journalism.
